Consumer Collections

Consumer collections include automotive lenders, credit cards, banks, cell phones, hospitals, etc… Following all governing rules and regulations, RAB can maximize a company’s receivables in any market and have been doing so for over thirty years. RAB treats all debtors with the respect they deserve while still reaching an agreeable resolution. Contingency fees are based on volume of accounts, average balance, and age of accounts at the time of placement.  

Early Out Collections

RAB provides an efficient and cost effective “early out” program for both private pay and insurance related accounts. In an era of doing more with less, this service will optimize client cash flow, eliminate client backlogs, and increase client productivity. This program can be customized to fit each client’s needs. This service includes reimbursement billing, re-billing (electronic or manual), worker’s compensation, Medicare, Medicaid, third party liability, medical lien recovery, A/R backlogs, A/R cleanups, self-pay, deductible programs in addition to many other customizable programs.

Commercial Collections

When commercial accounts are placed with us, our highly trained motivated staff immediately attempts to contact the debtors and collect the debt. This service is perfect for businesses to utilize before attempting any legal means. Our fees are all on a contingency basis so no money is out pocket if the debt is not collected. At RAB, our main goal is to collect our client’s delinquent accounts while maintaining the relationship between our client and their debtor. This service includes all business to business collections as well as some business to consumer collections.  

Pre-Collect Letter Service

A series of letters tailored to fit the needs of your organization and an effective and inexpensive alternative for collection of accounts that are not delinquent enough for bad debt collections. RAB will send a series of collection letters over a time interval of your choice and your customers will be instructed to make all payments directly to you. Cost is based on volume and clients are charged per account.

10-Day Demand Service

RAB can send a letter to your customer with a 10-day window for the customer to pay the balance in full. The service is free if the account is paid in full within the first 10 calendar days. If the account is not paid in full, the account will convert to full service collections and will be subject to regular contingency rates. Free demands are not subject to cancellation.

Immediate Collection Service

Upon the receipt our client’s accounts, we will assign each of your accounts to one of our collectors. The initial letters will automatically be sent out according to federal laws and our client’s specifications. The collector will then immediately contact your customer to attempt to collect the balance and any additional interest or service charges, where applicable.

Legal Services

Our legal services include liens, probate, worker’s compensation and litigation.

Payment Monitoring

RAB is fully capable of monitoring payment arrangements made by the creditor.

Client Web Access

Client Access Web is not only an aid to us but also to our clients and consumers. Clients can stay informed on all communications and status of accounts placed with RAB in addition to printing reports, reporting payments, etc. Our secure portal has functional tools for every level of management and staff. Clients can assign accounts online, view collection activity on accounts, edit account information, report payments, print and view downloadable reports and send and receive messages from RAB’s staff. Consumers can view their account activity, pay their debts, negotiate a settlement on their account with guidelines set by the client, and set up payment plans. This online tool is operational 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for our clients and debtors viewing.

Customized Performance Reports

Performance reports provide our clients with recovery percentages and enable them to review overall performance. Reports can be customized to fit each client’s individual specifications and can be accessed via the Client Access Web or sent electronically. These reports can be prepared on an as needed basis or submitted intermittently.

Comprehensive Status Reports

Our staff understands how important it is to keep our clients informed on all accounts assigned.  Status reports can be created and provided via hard copy or electronically at times designated by our clients or reports can be accessed through our Client Access Web portal.

Credit Reporting

RAB has the capabilities to report on-line to all three major credit bureau agencies.

Skip Tracing

RAB utilizes numerous databases included internet search engines in order to locate debtors thus increasing percentage of recovery for our clients.
